League Registration

To register in any of the I-Slam Leagues or pick-up sessions, please contact Teepu Khawja at teepu@i-slam.ca.
In your email to him, please specify the following:
- Which league tier you would like to play in Mississauga - Tier 1 or Tier 2?
- Are you registering a team, or as a draft player to be placed on a team, or to enter the pickup sessions (minimum 15 registered players required).
- Please note that only a specific number of teams will be registered in each league's tier, and not all draft players are guaranteed placement on a team though all efforts will be exhausted.
- If registering a team, please provide all the player names on your team’s roster.
Please do not wait until the last minute to contact Teepu; contact him ASAP with your interest to increase the chances of you and/or your team getting a spot this season.
Registration will be on a first email - first pay basis.

Mississauga Tier 1 and Tier 2 Leagues:
- Minimum 14 games guarenteed.
- Team jerseys (reversibles) provided.
- $1,800 team fee (minimum 7 players, maximum 10 players; at least 50% of players MUST be Muslim).
- $200 for each additional player if more than 10 players on your team.
- $200 per individual player if entering through the draft.
To finalize your registration in the I-Slam League, I-Slam MUST receive $900 by September 1, 2010 and the remaining $900 prior to your team's first game.

Send payment through online banking by way of Interac email transfer. Send the payment to Teepu Khawja at teepu@i-slam.ca.
Send a cheque/money order/bank draft (NO CASH through mail) made out to "I-Slam Athletic Club" and mail to:

As a final resort, contact Teepu at teepu@i-slam.ca to arrange to meet for payment.

NO REFUNDS once the regular season has begun (regardless of personal withdrawal from league or due to suspension based on poor conduct described below).
The Team Captain will be responsible for covering his players’ fees if he has not collected them in time (with the exception of any draft players that are placed on your team).
At the Organizer’s discretion, a payment deadline exception may be made for specific players whose economic circumstances prevent them from paying full league fees in one installment. For these exceptions:
- The player granted an exception must pay at least 50% by the registration deadline.
- If any player on the submitted roster (as of the first week of the season) has not paid all outstanding fees by the 3rd week of the season, he is ineligible to play any further games until he has paid in full.
- If full payment of oustanding fees is not received by the 5th week from the team, all subsequent games by said team will be ruled a default loss until all outstanding fees are paid in full.

To be eligible to play, ALL players will be required to sign a waiver form prior to their first game.

All league players will have a player profile page created.
To complete this player profile page, NEW league players will be required to provide I-Slam with specific data and have a head-shot photo taken.
