That's the question many of us were left wondering as Kursi only managed to have 4 players show up to this game. Not very good commitment shown, letting their teammates down during a crucial and potentially winnable game. Especially since its the same Kursi players who cant find the time to show up to their games. As a result, Kursi had to pick-up players to avoid the default and with such a start before the game even began, the outcome was pretty much predictable.
Asr was up 24-13 at halftime lead by Kristian's 10 points and 7 rebounds and Zahir's 5 points and 4 rebounds. Kursi was lead by Rihard's 5 points. In the 2nd half, Kursi called a timeout with 14:39 remaining and down 32-21. The game ended in a 63-40 win for Asr who will now face Zilzal in next week's semi-finals. Asr was lead by Kristian's 14 points and 11 rebounds, Zahir's 11 points and 14 rebounds, and Bilal's 15 points. Kursi was lead by Azam's 12 points. Kursi's absences really hurt them especially on the boards where they were outrebounded 44-19!
