It was his shooting which helped swing the tide in this game in Humazah's favor.

The game started off quickly for Takathur as they showed an intensity which gave way to the fact they understood this was a must win for them, especially in light of Al-Fil's default loss earlier. Takathur jumped out to a quick lead despite not having a usually punctual Greg Hamilton. Humazah seemed to be playing as if they just assumed they would get this win by simply showing up and getting out of bed. Takathur was attacking the rim early, especially Ahmir Butt, which allowed them to build an early lead, and no doubt things began looking even more promising as Greg Hamilton arrived and entered the game.

Unfortunately for Takathur their poor defence, which has plagued them all season, reared its ugly head and Humazh managed to chip away and eventually take a big lead into halftime. The half ended with Humazah up 33-20 lead by Feroz Khan with 13 points and who shot 3-4 from behind the 3-pt arc and Mohammed Sayeed who chipped in 10 points. Takathur was lead by Ahmir Butt with 7 points and 4 rebounds.

The second half was no different as Takathur was unable to fix its defensive deficiencies and Humazah's players were in a groove. Takathur was unable to sustain any type of comeback and fell 71-51, effectively eliminating them from the playoffs. Takathur was lead by Greg Hamilton with 24 points and 7 rebounds and Ahmir Butt with 16 points and 7 rebs. Humazah was lead by Sayeed with 22 points and 2 highlight alley-oop dunks and Feroz Khan with 19 points on 5-7 shooting from behind the 3-pt arc.

With the win, Humazah enters the playoffs ranked 2nd.
