Youth Skills Development Clinics in partnership with DeenUP Athletics Oct.1, 2013

I-Slam's Support with DeenUP Athletics:

The story with I-Slam starts way before DeenUP Athletics. The annual tournaments way back in the 2000's were marked on the calendar for Adeel Sahibzada, and even Nahyan Chowdhury in 2006 (as a designated bench-warmer of course), co-founders at DeenUP.

Most recently, DeenUP Athletics' basketball training programs in Mississauga couldn't begin in 2012 without support from I-Slam's founders Teepu and Zuhair. It'll be great to return for the Fall Clinics starting on November 10th, 2013.

About DeenUP Athletics:

DeenUP Athletics creates student-athletes across Toronto, by leveraging sports to engage youth.

Launched in 2012, the 8-Week basketball programs bring in hundreds of players to feed their athletic and academic hunger. The goal's to provide the highest quality of training, alongside the mentorship to build strong individuals their families and communities are proud of.

All the trainers have played basketball at CIS (Canadian Interuniversity Sports) and/or NCAA level in the US. Actually, in their first year, they helped 9 players receive athletic scholarships to colleges and universities across Canada and in the U.S.
