Registration and Rules
PRE-REGISTRATION (March 1, 2010 - April 1, 2010)
In this phase, simply email teepu@i-slam.ca to inform I-Slam of your interest to create a team for the 2010 tournament. This will allow us to hold you a spot while you try and put a team together.
EARLY-BIRD REGISTRATION (April 2, 2010 - April 16, 2010)
In this phase, you will confirm your team's registration in the tournament by sending a completed official registration form AND payment of the $250 CDN team registration fee.
Make cheques out to "I-Slam Athletic Club" and mail, along with registration forms, to the following:

REGISTRATION (April 17, 2010 - May 18, 2010)

If you have missed the pre-registration deadline then
in this phase, you will confirm your team's registration in the tournament, sending a completed official registration form AND payment of the $275 CDN team registration fee.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: May 18, 2010
LATE REGISTRATION (May 19, 2010 - June 10, 2010)

Teams whose registration forms are received AFTER the May 18th deadline will not be guaranteed a spot in the Tournament. Rather, they will be placed on a waiting list, with order of priority depending on date of receipt of registration form. Also, teams registering after the May 18, 2010 deadline will be required to pay a team registration fee of $300.
REGISTRATION FEES (fees include 8 player jerseys/t-shirts, automatic consideration for prizes, and free access to any of the guest speakers during the weekend)
**NOTE: All team players are required to wear identical uniforms; for teams that wish to have more than 8 players, this must be specified PRIOR to registration. An additional $10 is required for each player over to cover the cost of the additional team uniform (e.g. if you register a team of 9 players, you are required to pay $260 or $285 for your team, depending on whether or not you register before the Early-Bird special date)
$250 CDN/per team (if paid between April 2, 2010 and April 16, 2010)
$275 CDN/per team (if paid between April 17, 2010 and May 18, 2010)
NO REFUNDS AFTER MAY 18, 2010 TENTATIVE TOURNAMENT FORMAT:

5 on 5 Basketball Tournament in Round Robin AND Playoffs

Professional and Organized Competition
-
Advanced Division (last year 32 teams), and a Competitive Division (last year 12 teams)

3 Round Robin Games + 1 Playoff Game**

4 Basketball Courts

Slam-Dunk and 3-Point Competitions (tentative)

Guest Speakers and Lectures (To Be Confirmed)

Trophies and Awards Presentation

Brotherhood Awards and Prizes
