This game was finished soon after it started. Kursi came out and dominated the game offensively and defensively from the get go. It was an unusual win for Kursi though, as Michael Sagoe was not the dominating factor, rather it was Prince Orleans.
The game started with Kursi establishing an early lead. Michael Sagoe, Prince Orelans, and Kori Ramsay-Markells all contributed to establishing the early lead. In contrast, Ikhlas only had small contributions from their big guns Rahyl Hassan and Tarek El-Gammel in the first half. Kuris led 29-16 at the half.
The second half was very much the same, Kursi could not be stopped on offense and had extremely tight defense, resulting in turnovers for Ikhlas, which led to open unchallenged fast break layups for Kursi.
The final score was 61-31 for Kursi. Prince Orleans finished with a game high 25 points, and Michael Sagoe followed with 14 points. For Ikhlas, it must’ve been their toughest loss. Rahyl finished with 9 points, while Tarek had 14. |
